Layers: Create and Select
What This Feature Does
Layers let you work on different content separately. For example, you can place the background, line art, and shadows on different layers, making it easier to make changes.
Where to Access It
- Open the advanced editor, then find the Layers panel in the upper-right corner.
- On some pages, the layer list also appears at the bottom.
How to Use
Create a New Layer
- Open the Layers panel.
- Click the "+" button.
- The new layer will appear in the list.
Select the Current Layer
- Tap the layer you want to edit in the layer list.
- The selected layer will be highlighted.
- After that, your drawings will be applied to this layer.
Hide or Show a Layer
- Click the eye icon on the left side of the layer.
- When turned off, this layer will not be displayed on the canvas.
- Click it again to show it again.
Duplicate a Layer
- Open more options on the right side of the layer.
- Select "Duplicate."
- A new identical layer will be created, making it convenient for further editing.
Delete a Layer
- Open more options on the right side of the layer.
- Select "Delete."
- If only one layer remains, the system will prevent deletion.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why can't I see what I drew?
First, make sure you have selected the correct layer. Also, check if this layer is hidden.
Why can't I delete this layer?
To prevent the canvas from becoming empty, the system usually keeps at least one layer.
Why does the duplicated layer appear above?
This allows you to immediately see the new layer and continue editing.
