What This Feature Does

Guides and rulers help you align positions, determine center points, and control composition.

Where to Access

Open it in the auxiliary tools panel on the right side of the advanced editor.

How to Use

Show Ruler

  1. Click the ruler button.
  2. Ticks will appear on the canvas edges.
  3. Click again to hide.

Show Center Line

  1. Click the center line button.
  2. The canvas will display horizontal or vertical center guide lines.
  3. Ideal for aligning characters, icons, or symmetrical patterns.

Add Guides

  1. Open guide management.
  2. Select vertical guides or horizontal guides.
  3. A guide will appear at the specified position.
  4. You can continue to manage, show, hide, or clear them.

Usage Tips

  • When drawing a portrait, you can enable the center line to ensure left-right balance.
  • When creating icons, use guides to align edges.
  • Guides will not become part of the image content.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will guides be exported?

Usually not; they are only references during editing.

What if there are too many guides?

Open guide management and clear the unwanted guides.
