Import from Works to Editor

What This Feature Does

When a work provides source files, you can import them directly into the editor to continue creating. This is useful for learning how others structure their works or for remixing when allowed.

How to Access

On the work detail page, click Use or Import to Editor.

How to Use

  1. Open the work detail page.
  2. Check if there is a Use or Import entry.
  3. Click Use.
  4. Confirm the import.
  5. Wait for loading to finish, then enter the editor.

Things to Note Before Using

  • Not all works provide source files.
  • Some works require you to log in before they can be used.
  • If the author has not made the source files available, you cannot import them into the editor.

What You Can Do After Importing

  • View the canvas structure
  • Continue modifying pixel content
  • Adjust the color palette
  • Edit animation frames
  • Save as your own work

Usage Tips

  • Respect the original author – do not directly publish someone else’s work as your own.
  • When learning or remixing, you can credit the source in the description.
  • After importing, it's recommended to save a copy first to avoid confusion with the original work’s state.
